Choosing to see the innocence of others

Choosing to see the innocence of others  

is truly my reprieve from the cost I was paying for my own "sins". 

For only when I forgave them their mistakes, 

was I able to forgive my own mistakes, 

and not see them as crimes darkening my soul still further.
