Circle of At-Onement Guided Meditation

I want you to imagine a glittering, golden web of light encircling the earth,

Each junction point in the web,

is a soul that has decided to teach and learn guiltlessness, and who now extends that to others,

making a radiant line connecting soul to soul.

As you marvel at the radiant grandeur of this web,

you notice a gap in the web, a dark place not lit by connecting links.

I want you now to move toward that dark gap, knowing that where there are tears in the fabric of God's love,

There, too, are the tears of someone down there who needs you.

 Where there's a gap in the light, there too is some beloved child of God, 

and some long-lost sibling to you,

Who now stands outside, alone and separated from the loving family circle of God's love.

Feel yourself being drawn to them, and look at them for a while.

Who are they?

Do you know them from this life,

or is Spirit showing you someone it wants you to look upon and raise back up?

Or maybe they are someone Spirit needs you to raise back up.

Look upon them and see how this person has been a prisoner,

bound with heavy chains of shame for years,

starved and emaciated by fear,

and how weak and exhausted by loneliness they are.

See how their eyes, so long cast down in darkness, don’t remember the light.

Kneel down beside them now,

And see how their hands have been groping but feebly in the dust,

looking for a hand to hold.

Take their hand,

 and then strengthen your hold on their hand,

for they are uncertain whether to let go of your hand,

Or to take hold of life so long forgotten.

Raise them up now to stand eye to eye with you,

and say to them, "my friend, you are a guiltless child of God who is one with me,

let us walk back home together."

Now, I want you to watch as this scene fades into a blazing, joy-filled light,

and rise back above that golden web surrounding the earth.

Notice now, the feeling of this deep kind of satisfaction as you see how this

golden web of love has exponentially increased in its connecting lines,

from your act of mercy on a soul in need of naught but their loving family-

their eternal home that never stopped looking for them.
