The Monster and The Child

See here a hideous monster, with many heads and blood dripping from its fangs.
Large, overblown and clawing at the air,
It seeks to threaten and intimidate all who come near.
See then a child with a wild flower
approaching this menacing hydra,
and looking quizzically upon it.
Watch how the child places their flower in a hole in the demon's armor,
Saying, "Here, I think you need this more than me today."
Behold how the hissing monstrosity
then went up in a flash of beauty,
Leaving but another child standing there in the light.
