What I am Letting Go of ... to Move Forward

I am letting go of my egoic false humility, 

That voice that tells me,  

If it comes from me,  

It can’t be something worth wanting. 

I let go of my tolerance for wasting time away from what I came here to do, 

In the mistaken conviction  

that those who need my gifts can wait. 

I let go what I used to value more than 

Doing what makes me happy, 

and helps many others. 

I let go of my fear of success 

 in the goals I seek to accomplish, 

For my goals are only for loving service. 

I leave behind the fearful voices I used to follow, 

For now I follow the voice that speaks only for love.  

And I gladly make the “sacrifice” of caring how I look, 

As my self-love goal now, 

Is loving how I feel.
